“I Want More” is a journal of my thoughts as I read through the One Year Bible with its arranged readings of Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs passages.

A while back, I began reading the One Year Bible. At first, reading so much each day felt like way too much to take in, like trying to get a drink of water from a fire hydrant.

But I kept at it and over time, the rushing slowed down and certain verses began to stand out for me, as if they were highlighted and had my name on them. And then I began to feel like I had something I wanted to say back about them.

That’s when I started writing my Bible journal. And that’s when I stopped falling asleep when I read the Bible. Keeping my hands busy keeps me awake.

Somewhere along the way, I felt drawn in on a treasure hunt to find more of God and his love.
